Dry-bag pressing

This technique is also called dry pressure molding.
As it pressures the material from all sides, it can produce longer products than compression molding.
Also, as it can produce multiple pieces at the same time, its efficiency is much higher.

It uses molds made of rubber or plastic and the pressure medium is liquid (glycerin or oil).
The raw powder is sealed inside a rubber bag, immersed into a high-pressure container to later be molded by pressure.
This technique is suitable for mixed variety small quantity lots, as well as for big quantity mass production.


Features of dry-bag pressing

It can process sizes as big as 300L.
As the pressure to the material is uniform, the functionality of the products is really stable.
